Business Continuity

New Orleans Public Belt Railroad (NOPB/Rail NOLA) operations continue to function as normal. In accordance with exemptions provided in the Stay-At-Home mandates issued by the State of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans, NOPB operations are considered essential transportation and logistics services. NOPB service remains uninterrupted.

The NOPB Administration Building is closed temporarily for the safety of our employees, their families, and the community. Employees with the job flexibility to do so continue to work from home.

“The NOPB remains committed to providing quality transportation services to our customers and railroad partners. The safety of our employees and the general public is our primary concern while we move our nation’s freight” said M.D. “Mike” Stolzman.

NOPB continues to work with state, local, and federal officials to ensure our policies and procedures meet and exceed guidelines. The health and safety of our employees, crews, and community will remain our most essential priority.
